PENGESAHAN MEMORANDUM SALING PENGERTIAN ANTARA PEMERINTAH REPUBLIK INDONESIA DAN PEMERINTAH NEGARA PALESTINA TENTANG FASILITASI PERDAGANGAN UNTUK PRODUK TERTENTU YANG BERASAL DARI WILAYAH PALESTINA(MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE OF PALESTINE ON TRADE FACILITATION FOR CERTAIN PRODUCTS ORIGINATING FROM PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES)

Indonesia, sebagai langkah awal, akan menghapus tarif bea masuk atas kurma Palestina (HSO80410) serta minyak zaitun virgin Palestina (HS150910) dan kemudian akan menghapus tarif untuk produk-produk yang terpilih dan disepakati lainnya, sebagai bagian dari dukungan Indonesia untuk memperkuat kehidupan sosial-ekonomi masyarakat Palestina yang tinggal di wilayah Palestina.

Pengaturan rinci untuk fasilitasi ekspor sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 1 akan disepakati lebih lanjut pada kesempatan pertama oleh Para Pihak dalam instrumen terpisah dan akan menjadi bagian dari Memorandum Saling Pengertian ini.

Setiap pengaturan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 2 tidak akan mempengaruhi atau mencegah Para Pihak untuk tetap mempertahankan atau membentuk serikat pabean, wilayah perdagangan bebas, perjanjian perdagangan preferensial, perjanjian perdagangan multilateral atau pengaturan perdagangan lintas batas dengan negara lain. Untuk Untuk Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Pemerintah Negara Palestina TT PA “ PEP 2 'ggartiasto Lukita Kveo)pena 'enteri Perdagangan PAEkonomi MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE OF PALESTINE ON TRADE FACILITATION FOR CERTAIN PRODUCTS ORIGINATING FROM PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES The Govemment of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesia) and the Government of the State of Palestine (Palestine) (hereinafter referred to collectively as "the Parties"), DESIRING to enhance brotheriy relations between the two Countries: CONSCIOUS of longstanding friendship and fraternity, REAFFIRMING the need to enhance Palestinian socio-economic Iivelihood in their national struggle for independence: PURSUANT to the prevalling laws and regulations in their respective countries: HAVE AGREED as follows: ARTICLE 1 Indonesia, as a first step, shall eliminate import duties on Palestinian dates (HSO80410) and virgin olive oil (HS150910) to be followed by other selected agreed upon products as part of Indonesia's support to strengthen the socio-economic life of Palestinian people living in the State of Palestine. ARTICLE 2 The detailed arrangements of export facilitation as referred to in Article 1 will be further agreed at the earliest convenience by the Parties in a separate instrument and will form part to this Memorandum of Understanding, ARTICLE3 Any arrangements as referred to in Article 2 shall not affect or prevent the maintenance or eestablishment of customs unions, free trade areas, preferential trade agreements, multilateral trade 'agreements or cross-border trade arrangements of the Parties with other countries.
